USER DATA DELETION

BhandariTech (bhandaritech.com)

Last updated: 22 September 2026

This page explains how to have your account and sign-in data deleted from any restaurant storefront that runs on the BhandariTech platform, including data received when you sign in with Google, Facebook, Microsoft or Apple. See our Privacy Policy for how we handle this data before deletion.

1. WHAT GETS DELETED

1.1  A deletion request removes:

  • (a)  your customer account on the restaurant's storefront, including your name, email address and any saved delivery addresses;
  • (b)  the link between your account and any social sign-in provider (Google, Facebook, Microsoft or Apple) you used to sign in, including the profile information — name, email address and provider account ID — we received when you first signed in; and
  • (c)  any saved payment method references (we never store full card numbers; these are held by our payment providers, Stripe and Mollie, under their own policies).

1.2  We keep records of past orders and reservations for the period the restaurant needs for accounting, tax and food-safety traceability, as explained in our Privacy Policy. Deleting your account removes your ability to sign in and view that history yourself, but does not require the restaurant to delete records it is legally required to keep.

2. REVOKE ACCESS DIRECTLY WITH YOUR SIGN-IN PROVIDER

2.1  If you signed in with a social provider, the fastest way to stop it sharing your profile with any BhandariTech-powered storefront is to remove the connection from your own account with that provider. This takes effect immediately on their side:

2.2  Revoking access this way stops future sign-ins and stops the provider sharing any new profile information with us. It does not, by itself, delete the account or order history already stored on the restaurant's storefront — for that, send us a deletion request under clause 3.

3. REQUEST FULL DELETION

3.1  To have your account and data fully deleted, email our Data Protection Officer at [email protected] with:

  • (a)  the email address or phone number your account uses;
  • (b)  which sign-in method you used (Google, Facebook, Microsoft, Apple, or email and password); and
  • (c)  the name of the restaurant whose storefront you used, if you know it — you can send one request and we will locate and delete the account on every storefront it appears on.

3.2  We will verify the request is genuinely yours, then delete the account and the sign-in data described in clause 1 within one month, and confirm by email once it is done. We may keep the minimum information needed to prove we handled your request.

3.3  This is the same right to erasure described in our Privacy Policy, and the same contact handles every other data protection request, not only deletion.

4. QUESTIONS OR COMPLAINTS

4.1  If you are unhappy with how your request was handled, tell us first at [email protected] so we can put it right. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.
